Whole for Freshness

Why don't we grind it for you?

We intentionally package our freeze-dried aronia berries whole. Once ground, more of the fruit is exposed to air and moisture, and the powder can absorb humidity and begin to clump or harden.

Keeping the berries whole helps protect their crisp freeze-dried quality during storage while giving you the freedom to use them however you'd like.

Keep it whole. Grind it when you need it.

What can you expect?

Aronia isn't a blueberry.

It has a naturally tart, earthy and slightly astringent flavor. Try pairing it with naturally sweeter foods like banana, apple, yogurt, honey or other fruits to find your favorite combination.
